Ayam Goreng Berempah Recipe (Spiced Fried Chicken)
This is a delicious Malaysian spiced fried chicken recipe that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Chicken Marinade
- 1 kg Chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon Cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon Fennel powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 2 stalks Lemongrass, minced
- 1 cup Rice flour
- 1 cup Cornstarch
- 2 cups Oil for frying
Mix all the marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add the chicken pieces and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
In another bowl, mix the rice flour and cornstarch. Dredge the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
