Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 cups Tomato puree
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon Chili paste
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add the chili paste and cook for a few minutes until the oil separates.
  3. 3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
  4. 4. Pour in the tomato puree and coconut milk. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Add sugar and salt. Let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
  6. 6. Serve hot with steamed rice.
