Dough
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cornstarch
- 200 g unsalted butter cold and cubed
- 50 g icing sugar
- 2 tablespoon milk powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg yolk
Filling
- 400 g pineapple jam store-bought or homemade
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, and milk powder.
Add cold, cubed butter and rub into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Mix in icing sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk until a dough forms.
Roll dough into small balls, flatten, and place a small amount of pineapple jam in the center. Fold the dough over the jam and shape into a tart.
Place tarts on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool before serving.
