Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- 200 grams Beef, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 4 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 2 pieces Star Anise
- 2 pieces Cloves
- 1 piece Pandan Leaf, knotted
1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add garlic, ginger, cinnamon, star anise, and cloves. Sauté until fragrant.
3. Add beef and cook until browned.
4. Add rice, water, and pandan leaf. Bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Add coconut milk, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
7. Remove from heat and serve warm.
