Durian Mooncake Recipe

Mooncake Dough
- 300 g All-purpose flour
- 200 g Golden syrup
- 80 g Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Alkaline water
Durian Filling
- 500 g Durian pulp
- 100 g Sugar
- 50 g Butter
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, golden syrup, vegetable oil, and alkaline water. Mix until a dough forms. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
3. For the filling, blend durian pulp, sugar, and butter until smooth.
4. Divide the dough and filling into equal portions. Flatten the dough and wrap it around the filling. Shape using a mooncake mold.
5. Place the mooncakes on a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
