- 2 pieces Pomfret fish cleaned and gutted
- 3 tablespoon Fermented soy beans
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 inch Ginger sliced
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sliced ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.
Add fermented soy beans and stir-fry for another minute.
Add the pomfret fish and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Pour in water, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
