Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Pomfret fish cleaned and gutted
  • 3 tablespoon Fermented soy beans
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger sliced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sliced ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add fermented soy beans and stir-fry for another minute.
  4. Add the pomfret fish and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Pour in water, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
