Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Fish (like sea bass or tilapia) cleaned and scaled
  • 2 inches Ginger julienned
  • 3 cloves Garlic thinly sliced
  • 2 stalks Spring Onions cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch White Pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Clean and scale the fish. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. 2. Place the fish on a heatproof plate that fits into your steamer.
  3. 3. Scatter the ginger, garlic, and spring onions over the fish.
  4. 4. Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the fish.
  5. 5. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Steam the fish over high heat for about 20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. 7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
