Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Sambal Paste
  • 1 lb Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 can Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the sambal paste and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk and water, and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Add the sugar and salt, and adjust seasoning to taste.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
