  • 10 pieces Dried red chilies soaked in hot water
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Shrimp paste toasted
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil

Instructions 

  1. Blend the soaked chilies, garlic, and shrimp paste into a smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the paste until fragrant.
  3. Add sugar and salt, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Let it cool and store in a jar.
