- 10 pieces Dried red chilies soaked in hot water
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Shrimp paste toasted
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Oil
Blend the soaked chilies, garlic, and shrimp paste into a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the paste until fragrant.
Add sugar and salt, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Let it cool and store in a jar.
