Ingredients 

Chicken

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced

Rice

  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions 

  1. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Marinate chicken for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roast chicken for 40 minutes or until cooked through.
  3. Rinse rice until water runs clear. Sauté garlic and ginger in oil, add rice and stir for 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, bring to boil, then simmer until cooked.
  4. Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Serve chicken over rice, drizzle with sauce.
