Ingredients 

Chicken Marinade

  • 4 pieces Chicken Thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Sambal

  • 5 pieces Red Chilies chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 pieces Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Rice

  • 2 cups Rice uncooked
  • 4 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. Marinate the chicken with garlic, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, and sugar. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
  3. For the sambal, blend red chilies, garlic, tomatoes, salt, and sugar into a paste. Sauté the paste until fragrant.
  4. Cook the rice in a rice cooker with water.
  5. Serve the fried chicken with rice and sambal on the side. Enjoy!
