Nasi Dagang Recipe (East Coast Fish Curry Rice)

Rice
- 2 cups Glutinous rice soaked overnight
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Fish Curry
- 500 grams Fish (Tuna or Mackerel) cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoon Curry powder
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Tamarind paste
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1 Onion sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 inch Ginger sliced
1. Rinse the glutinous rice and soak it overnight.
2. Drain the rice and place it in a rice cooker. Add coconut milk and salt. Cook until done.
3. Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
4. Add curry powder and stir for a minute.
5. Add fish pieces, coconut milk, salt, and tamarind paste. Simmer until fish is cooked and the curry thickens.
6. Serve the fish curry with the cooked rice.
