Nasi Goreng Kampung Recipe (Village Style Fried Rice)

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups Cooked rice preferably day-old
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 pcs Shallots sliced
- 2 pcs Red chilies sliced
- 1 cup Mixed vegetables carrots, peas, and corn
- 2 tablespoon Sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 2 pcs Eggs beaten
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 2 pcs Spring onions chopped
- 1 handful Fried shallots for garnish
- 1 handful Cucumber slices for garnish
Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat.
Add the garlic, shallots, and red chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant.
Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for a few minutes.
Push the vegetables to one side of the wok and pour the beaten eggs on the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
Add the cooked rice, sweet soy sauce, and soy sauce. Stir-fry everything together until well combined.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped spring onions.
Serve hot, garnished with fried shallots and cucumber slices.
