Fried Rice
- 2 cups Cooked rice
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Gravy
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add cooked rice, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry until well mixed and heated through. Set aside.
For the gravy, heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
Add chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Add cornstarch mixture and stir until the gravy thickens.
Pour the gravy over the fried rice and serve hot.
