Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Basmati rice
- 3 tablespoon Ghee
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- 2 cups Water
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 3 pods Cardamom
- 2 cloves Cloves
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Rinse the basmati rice until the water runs clear.
In a pot, heat the ghee over medium heat.
Add the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves. Sauté until fragrant.
Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat the rice with the ghee and spices.
Pour in the coconut milk, water, and salt. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
