Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Pineapple peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon Tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 3 cloves Cloves
- 2 star Star anise
Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
Add cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise. Fry until fragrant.
Add pineapple chunks and stir well.
Pour in coconut milk, tamarind paste, salt, and sugar. Stir to combine.
Simmer for 20-30 minutes until pineapple is tender and sauce thickens.
Serve hot with rice.
