Ingredients 

Rice Layer

  • 2 cups glutinous rice soaked for 4 hours
  • 1 ½ cups coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Custard Layer

  • 1 cup pandan juice blend pandan leaves with water and strain
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Instructions 

  1. 1. Drain the soaked glutinous rice and mix it with coconut milk and salt. Steam for 20-30 minutes until cooked.
  2. 2. Press the cooked rice into a greased baking pan to form an even layer.
  3. 3. Blend pandan juice, coconut milk, eggs, sugar, and flour until smooth. Strain the mixture.
  4. 4. Pour the pandan mixture over the rice layer. Steam for 30 minutes until set.
  5. 5. Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
