Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Add water and beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
3. Fold in the shrimp until evenly coated.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
6. Remove fritters from oil and drain on paper towels.
7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
