Ingredients

  • 500 g Yam peeled and diced
  • 200 g Rice Flour
  • 50 g Dried Shrimp soaked and chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 500 ml Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Steam the diced yam until soft, about 15 minutes.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour and water to form a batter.
  3. 3. In a frying pan, sauté garlic and dried shrimp until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add the steamed yam, soy sauce, salt, and white pepper to the pan. Mix well.
  5. 5. Pour the batter into the pan and stir until thickened.
  6. 6. Transfer the mixture to a greased pan and steam for 40 minutes.
  7. 7. Let it cool before slicing. Serve with chili sauce if desired.
